Class Descriptions

Join us at one of our classes! All of our classes take place in a judgment-free zone. You are encouraged to show up “as you are” and know that you will be held in a safe and comfortable space by your facilitator and fellow participants. We have a staple of ongoing classes that we offer in yoga, meditation, women's circles, girls empowerment circles and more. Read about our classes below, and see our schedule when you're ready to book a class.

 

Please note: During the health concerns of spring 2020, all Circle of Renewal classes will be offered ONLINE ONLY.

 

Vinyasa & Flow Yoga Classes

ONLINE Express Flow Yoga  

This short and sweet class offers a complete and balanced practice full of a mix of flowing sun salutations and strengthening postures. End class with deep stretching, and a short savasana. Expect to sweat, just not too much. Transition into your day feeling invigorated and focused.

This class is for all levels.

 

Express Flow Yoga is offered Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 6 a.m. See our full schedule.

ONLINE Heated Power Yoga & Heated Power Yoga Express

This fun, high-energy class is designed specifically for those seeking a strong practice. Build strength, stamina, balance and flexibility. This class will include familiar postures, and breath-directed flowing sequences. Modified versions of more challenging postures will always be given. Be sure to work at your own pace, and take breaks whenever you feel the need. Expect to sweat! The room will be heated to a safe but warm 78-80 degrees.

This class is for intermediate levels and above.

 

Heated Power Yoga is offered Thursdays at 6:30 p.m., Friday at 12:30 p.m. and Saturdays at 9 a.m. Heated Power Yoga Express is offered Wednesdays at 6 p.m. See our full schedule.

ONLINE Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Vinyasa Flow Yoga is an engaging class that focuses on balance, strength-building and flowing yoga postures with space to release and let go. Vinyasa classes link movement with intentional breath to create space for transformation. You will be guided through yoga poses that will loosen you up, encourage joy and help you reduce stress—all while enjoying a balanced workout. Leave feeling refreshed and renewed.

This class is for all levels.

ONLINE Kids Yoga

This special ONLINE class is fun and flowing. We move, stretch and breathe. We use music to inspire and a simple and easy meditation to calm. This class is an engaging approach to gain strength, flexibility, coordination and focus. It's a great way to start your day!

This class special class is offered as an adjustment while the Kirtland Schools are closed. This allows students to continue connecting through yoga from the comfort of their own homes. Do NOT come to the studio for this class. You will receive a link to join the class from your computer or smartphone when you book the class.

Gentle & Slow Yoga Classes

ONLINE Gentle Flow Yoga

This class is a soulful celebration of yoga and movement. This creative class is designed with the intention to gain greater flexibility in body and mind through a gentle-paced sequence of flowing yoga postures. Leave feeling grounded, peaceful and centered.

This class is for all levels.

 

Gentle Flow Yoga is offered Sundays at 11:30 a.m. and Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. See our full schedule.

ONLINE Peaceful Flow Candlelight Yoga

This class is perfect for helping unwind from a busy day. Beautiful music and candlelight will help you slow down and enjoy a yoga class full of soothing yoga postures and peaceful flow sequences that will help you stretch and release built-up tension and stress. Extra time will be taken to rest and rejuvenate with a meditation that will aid in deep relaxation of the body and mind. Leave feeling restored and ready for a restful night.​

Circles

 

ONLINE Girls Empowerment Circles - VIRTUAL gathering

Our girls (ages 8 to 16) can thrive when they learn how to create powerful bonds of sisterhood with one another. These circles allow girls to share honestly about their experiences, laugh with peers and explore the challenges of growing up in our modern era. Sitting in circle provides girls a chance to explore personal growth, confront fears, engage in empowerment-based discussions, connect with others and feel the support and trust of a community. Laughter, silliness and joy encouraged! Circles are a safe, judgment-free space where everyone is honored and celebrated for being exactly as they are.

While schools are closed during the spring of 2020 and to maintain the health of our children during this time, our Girls Empowerment Circle will meet virtually ONLINE. This will allow our girls to continue connecting from the comfort of their own homes. Do NOT come to the studio for this class. You will receive a link to join the class from your computer or smartphone when you book the class.

Girls empowerment circles are offered the second Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m. See our full schedule.

FREE Offerings

FREE! Online Kids Midday Yoga + Meditation Stretch Break

Join Chris Keller ONLINE every Tuesday at 1 p.m. for a short midday yoga and meditation stretch break. This is a great way to break up the day, spend some time moving and shaking off your stress. Class ends with a short meditation, focused on calming and grounding.

This class is free and all ages and abilities are welcome to attend.

FREE! Online Kids/Teens Mindfulness + Meditation

This free online class is open to kids, tweens and teens to connect, be and breathe together. Each week, we'll do a brief chat about living mindfully and being in the moment to help manage stress, lessen anxiety and sharpen self-awareness. We'll also share in a group meditation to help young minds feel calm and centered. 

 

This class is free and no previous experience in mindfulness or meditation is necessary. Suggested ages are 8 to 16.

FREE! Yogi Social Hour

Looking for a way to stay connected at this time of at-home practice? Join us every Wednesday evening at 8:15 p.m. after our Vinyasa Flow class for a Yogi social hour! This free event is an opportunity to chat, laugh and connect with one another. Pour yourself a glass of your favorite beverage, cozy up in your favorite chair, and join us from your desktop or smartphone to video-chat together!
