Class Descriptions

Join us at one of our classes! All of our classes take place in a judgment-free zone. You are encouraged to show up “as you are” and know that you will be held in a safe and comfortable space by your facilitator and fellow participants. We have a staple of ongoing classes that we offer in yoga, meditation, women's circles, girls empowerment circles and more. Read about our classes below, and see our schedule when you're ready to book a class.

 

Please note: During the health concerns of spring 2020, all Circle of Renewal classes will be offered ONLINE ONLY.

 

Vinyasa & Flow Yoga Classes

ONLINE Express Flow Yoga  

This short and sweet class offers a complete and balanced practice full of a mix of flowing sun salutations and strengthening postures. End class with deep stretching, and a short savasana. Expect to sweat, just not too much. Transition into your day feeling invigorated and focused.

This class is for all levels.

 

Express Flow Yoga is offered Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 6 a.m. See our full schedule.

ONLINE Power Yoga & Power Yoga Express

This fun, high-energy class is designed specifically for those seeking a strong practice. Build strength, stamina, balance and flexibility. This class will include familiar postures, and breath-directed flowing sequences. Modified versions of more challenging postures will always be given. Be sure to work at your own pace, and take breaks whenever you feel the need. Expect to sweat! The room will be heated to a safe but warm 78-80 degrees.

This class is for intermediate levels and above.

 

Power Yoga is offered Saturdays at 9 a.m. Power Yoga Express is offered Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6 p.m. See our full schedule.

ONLINE Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Vinyasa Flow Yoga is an engaging class that focuses on balance, strength-building and flowing yoga postures with space to release and let go. Vinyasa classes link movement with intentional breath to create space for transformation. You will be guided through yoga poses that will loosen you up, encourage joy and help you reduce stress—all while enjoying a balanced workout. Leave feeling refreshed and renewed.

This class is for all levels.

 

Wednesdays at 7 p.m. until June 3rd. Beginning June 10th, this class transitions to Yoga in the Park.

Yoga in the Park

Summertime favorite YOGA IN THE PARK is BACK! Join Chris Keller for her Wednesday evening 7 p.m. Vinyasa Flow class weekly at Chapin Forest Reservation, beginning June 10th. Enjoy a fun and flowing vinyasa class in the great outdoors.

Please note that we will be following all state-mandated requirements for these classes. As such, to limit contact, please register and pay for this class in advance online. We will not be accepting any in-person payments. We also will have hand sanitizer available and we ask all students to use before practice begins. We also will set mats up six feet apart. Please monitor your own health carefully, and do not attend class if you are running a temperature, have a cough or are generally feeling unwell, or have been exposed to COVID-19. Please do not arrive more than 10 minutes prior to class, and, per state guidelines, we request that you maintain six feet distance between everyone, include before and after class.

Classes will take place at Chapin Forest Reservation at 10381 Hobart Rd., in Kirtland, off Euclid Chardon Rd. (RT 6). We will meet at the field at the end of the parking lot opposite Twin Ponds shelter. 

All ages and abilities are welcome at this class. Please bring your own yoga mat, water bottle and any props you may need. 

If weather is severe or threatening, class will meet online instead.

ONLINE Kids Yoga

This special ONLINE class is fun and flowing. We move, stretch and breathe. We use music to inspire and a simple and easy meditation to calm. This class is an engaging approach to gain strength, flexibility, coordination and focus. It's a great way to start your day!

Gentle & Slow Yoga Classes

 

ONLINE Peaceful Flow Candlelight Yoga

This class is perfect for helping unwind from a busy day. Beautiful music and candlelight will help you slow down and enjoy a yoga class full of soothing yoga postures and peaceful flow sequences that will help you stretch and release built-up tension and stress. Extra time will be taken to rest and rejuvenate with a meditation that will aid in deep relaxation of the body and mind. Leave feeling restored and ready for a restful night.​

Circles

 

ONLINE Girls Empowerment Circles 

Our girls (ages 8 to 16) can thrive when they learn how to create powerful bonds of sisterhood with one another. These circles allow girls to share honestly about their experiences, laugh with peers and explore the challenges of growing up in our modern era. Sitting in circle provides girls a chance to explore personal growth, confront fears, engage in empowerment-based discussions, connect with others and feel the support and trust of a community. Laughter, silliness and joy encouraged! Circles are a safe, judgment-free space where everyone is honored and celebrated for being exactly as they are.

While schools are closed during the spring of 2020 and to maintain the health of our children during this time, our Girls Empowerment Circle will meet virtually ONLINE. This will allow our girls to continue connecting from the comfort of their own homes. Do NOT come to the studio for this class. You will receive a link to join the class from your computer or smartphone when you book the class.

NEW TIME! Girls empowerment circles are scheduled monthly on Wednesdays at 3:30-5 p.m. Upcoming circles are on April 22nd and May 20th. See our full schedule.
