Beginners Yoga Workshop

1:30-3:30 p.m.

3 dates available:

Dec. 15, 2019

Jan. 12, 2020

Feb. 23, 2020

New to yoga or want a tune up on the basics? This workshop is a great place to start. This two-hour workshop breaks down the more commonly practiced poses and sequences found in most yoga classes. We will walk through basic alignment step-by-step and then explore how your body feels supported in each of the poses. We will move our bodies with curiosity and respect in a supportive and inclusive environment and explore the importance of breathing and how it supports your practice. All ages, shapes and sizes are welcome. Leave this workshop with tools to feel comfortable and confident when practicing.

Winter Solstice Practice & Celebration

This is an opportunity to slow down. As the darkest days of the year end and more light returns to our earth and to us, we can honor the sacredness of the season with quietude and reflection.

Join Chris Keller as she leads you by candlelight through a practice of gentle and flowing yoga poses and meditation. End this practice with a celebration and short ceremony dedicated to the inner light of hope and new beginnings.

Through the rhythm of showing up within a community, this celebration can offer support and fortification in a season that can otherwise feel hectic or lonely. Join us and be held within a community dedicated to kindness and honoring the inner-light and goodness within us all.
